1. 20min in bench easy without problems: Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus add keyless go BMW e92 cas3++ista-p.

Open cas for full back-up and generate from eeprom.
Personal experience: I have full back-up for Cas2 cas3 cas3++istap cas4 etc with hextag. For me is no problem but I don’t try in obd for lose time.

2. 10 min done via OBD: Xhorse Key Tool Plus program key BMW 2010 Cas3++ (ISTAP) done. Make sure you have enough power supply.
Insert the ignition key into ignition switch and connect the BMW 2010 vehicle and VVDI Key Tool Plus well.
Tap “Immo Programming” -> Europe -> BMW -> Automatically diagnose models -> Start Programming -> it is detected as CAS3++ (ISTAP) -> Generate key via OBD -> Read key information -> “Yes” to add new key -> obtain the key info.

Click on “Yes” to start flash CAS firmware.
Take away the dealer key from ignition switch and click on “OK”.
It will take several minutes to flash CAS firmware.
Insert key into ignition and switch on, then click on “OK”.
Authenticating success.
Start security login…
Take way the dealer key from ignition switch as the on-screen instruction guide.
Reading data success and then click on “Save”.

Select “Prepare dealer key with programmer”.
Select “Key 3 FFFFFFFF Enable”.
Click “OK” to learn that CAS key data is encrypted, support make dealer key for it.
Please input a working key into programmer (key tool plus).
Please put new key into programmer.
Click “NO” because the current key is not smart key.
Make dealer key success, click on “OK”.

Click on “Add key”.
This function add the newly generated key to the IMMO system, need to be executed “Generate dealer key – Use programmer” function to generate key.
Please put new key into programmer.
Click “NO” because the current key is not smart key.
Start security login…
Take way the dealer key from ignition switch and click on “OK”.
Reading data success.
Adding key.
Start security login…
Writing data success…

New dealer key success written to CAS system.
You can start engine with the new key now.

FBS4 Mercedes Keys Programming Solutions

 

Let’s start with a hot topic: looking for a solution to Program FBS4 Mercedes Keys.

Yes , main dealer tool with main dealer security access.

The way for a locksmith to access these tools or is dealer only is: if you have very deep pockets and willing to pay the price Mercedes want then of course you can buy.

For example: the good way to do FBS4 keys on 2014 and up Mercedes-Benz vehicles: you go to the dealer and you pay a thousand dollars and you get the key done, that’s the only way, it’s no happening, so give it up, stick with 13 and down cars and get your ass to the dealer and get your FBS4 key and stop complaining and talking about how you know how to do it.

No way to do FBS4 except Mercedes Dealers

Someone told with an online xentry account will be ok

But online access need to have the permission to Programm fsb4 keys. Mercedes-Benz don’t allow personal to do it , If you get the permission all your personal data and stuff are required to the database. So Mercedes-Benz can recognized who and when programmed a fsb4 key and for what reason

then you will get in trouble

Only can do it by Mercedes Benz dealers now

This is not a technical issue

This is a problem authorized by Mercedes-Benz

So currently no equipment can support FBS4 Program .

Program Jaguar Land rover 2015-2018 Smart Key with Xtool X100 PAD2 PAD3

 

To tread on Autel/Lonsdor/Yanhua‘s heels,  Xtool also released Jaguar and land rover 2015-2018 smart key add key and all keys lost programming by OBD.  The new update fits tablet tools X100 PAD2, Pad3, A80, A80 Pro.

Here is a demo guide on adding a new key in the new Jaguar and Landrover without opening KVM. This technique may even work in all key lost.  To perform the key function, you much have an unlocked original car key. Only supports keys that allow ID to be changed (keydiy key or Lonsdor JLR key)

You all also need KC501 adapter under all keys lost situation. To add key, it can be done via KC100.

Step 1: Generate smart key

We are going to generate a new smart key for Jaguar XE in Keydiy KD-X2 remote maker

Select Smart key generation- Land rover- use option Landrover ID49 433MHZ

Generate smart key success

Test both keys, read ID

Step 2: Program key

Connect x100 pad2 with vehicle via OBD socket
Go to IMMO- Land rover- Land rover (2015-2018)- Read key ID

read ID of old key

Select By OBD, use this option to add new key in the system

Press Yes if have 1 working key

To perform the key function, you much have an unlocked original car key. Only supports keys that allow ID to be changed. Keydiy key is weird on Land rover. Lonsdor JLR type key is recommended.

Put original key into KC100. The old key is stored at this position (Key ID 0F687F35)

put new key into kc100

we will use this position (Key ID: 05677F35) on store new key as this key is lost by the customer and no longer available
Select NO if don’t want to add another key

Generate dealer key successfully

Test both keys, remote control working fine. All can start car.

Tap the start button with the marker side of the first proximity key, then release it and attach it to the start button until the ignition is on and the buzzer beeps

Test key type and frequency with mini cn900

Type 7A HITAG AES

434MHz

Replace with a new good battery

Test remote control and start vehicle with the new key.
