1. 20min in bench easy without problems: Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus add keyless go BMW e92 cas3++ista-p.

Open cas for full back-up and generate from eeprom.
Personal experience: I have full back-up for Cas2 cas3 cas3++istap cas4 etc with hextag. For me is no problem but I don’t try in obd for lose time.

2. 10 min done via OBD: Xhorse Key Tool Plus program key BMW 2010 Cas3++ (ISTAP) done. Make sure you have enough power supply.
Insert the ignition key into ignition switch and connect the BMW 2010 vehicle and VVDI Key Tool Plus well.
Tap “Immo Programming” -> Europe -> BMW -> Automatically diagnose models -> Start Programming -> it is detected as CAS3++ (ISTAP) -> Generate key via OBD -> Read key information -> “Yes” to add new key -> obtain the key info.

Click on “Yes” to start flash CAS firmware.
Take away the dealer key from ignition switch and click on “OK”.
It will take several minutes to flash CAS firmware.
Insert key into ignition and switch on, then click on “OK”.
Authenticating success.
Start security login…
Take way the dealer key from ignition switch as the on-screen instruction guide.
Reading data success and then click on “Save”.

Select “Prepare dealer key with programmer”.
Select “Key 3 FFFFFFFF Enable”.
Click “OK” to learn that CAS key data is encrypted, support make dealer key for it.
Please input a working key into programmer (key tool plus).
Please put new key into programmer.
Click “NO” because the current key is not smart key.
Make dealer key success, click on “OK”.

Click on “Add key”.
This function add the newly generated key to the IMMO system, need to be executed “Generate dealer key – Use programmer” function to generate key.
Please put new key into programmer.
Click “NO” because the current key is not smart key.
Start security login…
Take way the dealer key from ignition switch and click on “OK”.
Reading data success.

How to Program Renault AES 4A Smart Key AKL via OBD

As we know all programming 4A keys for renault clio v and captur are not stable with all tools, im508, im608, obdstar, Lonsdor and sometimes UCH crashes and dealer UCH may cost about 1000 Euro. Is it safe to do all keys lost via OBD?  How to retrieve PIN if bricks UCH (BCM)?

As long as obdstar server is working everything is fine. Obdstar has done Renault flawlessly. Renault AES 4A smart key no worries including all keys lost. Just as a precaution, put a stabilized power supply or put the clamps on another car to start, during programming, in order to avoid breaking the Uch (BCM).
Don’t forget to use the green adapter, which will allow you to precode the new map.

The latest version 31.08 server stops working. Obdstar with the new updates, Renault vehicles from 2015 onwards will not working properly. Because when obdstar retrieves the Pin code on the server, it virginizes the HFM, and if the server does not work, you can no longer reprogram a new map, map you find yourself with a blank HFM, and impossible to reprogram a car.

Autel IM508/IM608/Xtool

IM508/Im608 used to work no issue with clio 4 and Captur. Work perfect and fast! I have made several as well (clio 4 2018 akl, 2015 Clio 4 etc).

In Clio IV, Capture and in dacia with BCM johnson is where there is data loss due to variations in voltage, it is best to back up the flash memory at the beginning of the process, the most stable equipment are autel and xtool for Renault.
Xtool x100 pad3 is the best programmer for Renault, id4A. Reed pin 1 minutes safe job, and add key, or all keys lost.   With Renault trafic from 2017, it works well with Xtool pad 3 as well.

Normally using a voltage stabilizer there should be no problem, just first make the memory backup dflash xtool and autel have that option in case something happens you can restore it. Remember to have good internet connection because the calculation is online.

But Autels servers are down either. There is a big problem with recovering the Pin code, when putting the virgin Hfm.
Because then, it is impossible to reprogram the client card and the new card. 2015 Clio 4 new card no luck on OBD, Pulled HRM read dflash get pincode programmed new card in minutes.

He should remove his connection system to the servers, because it’s too risky when it doesn’t work. Zedfull failed on obd also. You have to do it on the table, to be able to retrieve the information by welding some wires directly to the HFM, and using Abrites/vvdi prog/orange5, to read and retrieve the data.

obdstar is back into programming, it deletes the original cards and does not program.
Reschedule the HFM first.
Check with Renault Ecuador Tool, and it was very virgin (HFM blank) and no card to register.
Then use vvdi prog to recover flash data on hfm.)

So avoid programming keys and cards that use the AES 4A transponder, otherwise, your vehicle will not start again and the client keys will not work either.

SMOK will do automatic reading, without internet connection (without server), to avoid major problems.  At least with Smok UHDS , you don’t need to connect to the internet, so you can do Clio 4 and Captur phase 2 (after 2015) and find yourself with Hfm virgin, because of their Obdstar or Autel servers that are constantly rubbing right now.

What Mercedes has FBS3 and which has FBS4?
Late 2015 is FBS4, Early production 2015 is still FBS3.
Not on the outer shell.. maybe the numbers under the battery cover will tell you..

For sure FBS4… 222, 231, 205, 117, 2012 model year and up 212 and 218, 166 and 190
Note that FBS4 was added to 212 207 etc at mid 2013 (804) not in MY 2012

How to check your Mercedes has FBS3 or FBS4?

You can check Vedoc’s theft-relevant data section to ensure vehicle is FBS4; if the vehicle is FBS3 then there is no need to create an XSF case and a programmed key can be ordered as a normal TRP part

Also, you can check SA Codes on vehicle data card or use any suitable online vin decoder to see SA codes related to your vin. You are looking for the presence of SA code 803 or 804, depending on the Model this means vehicle is FBS4 related.

1. Xentry
FBS4 can use blank keys to program to the car with Xentry and an authorized online account.. Not all online accounts have access to program keys..

With genuine xentry and daimler fbs server.  Make FBS4 every day via OBD, very fast and easy.

2. Abrites
FBS4 Manager is a special function dedicated to the latest generation Mercedes- Benz FBS (DAS) related modules. It is where all the functions for FBS4 (around 2015+) vehicles will be developed. For the moment the focus of the function falls on its service related abilities. It allows the following for modules installed in Mercedes vehicles equipped with the FBS4 generation of DAS:
– Renewal of FBS4 7G Tronic units 722.9 (VGSNAG2). ALL BY OBD or internal CANBUS.
– Renewal of FBS4 CRD 3.X Engine Control Units. ALL BY OBD or internal CANBUS.

N.B. Please note that you will require an AVDI interface with an active AMS in order to use this special function. Absolutely no tokens required.

3. Diagspeed
Diagspeed announced the dates of FBS4 solution. But not confirmed yet. The Diagspeed has the reputation of being the best in the Mercedes world to make keys, Reset ECU’s and trouble shoot problems that a normal scan tool can not.  It is worth to take a gamble.

4. CGDI MB
CGDI can read FBS4 keys and knows if it’s in a working status or if the key is damaged;
That is CGDI can’t make calculation for FBS4

5. VVDI-MB
VVDI mb can disable FBS4 key function(Special function->FBS4 disable key)
It works for W166/W205/W213/W218/W222/W246 type.

How to Program 2014 VW Passat AKL via Lonsdor K518ISE

How to program 2014 VW Passat all keys lost in engineering mode with Lonsdor K518ISE Key Programmer? And how to get its IMMO data?

Procedure
Note: It does not support MQB all key lost.
Please go into engineering mode firstly:
Immobilization >> VW >> IMMO4 >> Select IMMO manually >> Engineering mode(4th Gen)

Step1. Use a VAG OBD Helper to read vehicle information and calculate data.
If VAG OBD Helper cannot read the data, which means it does not support.

Step2. Put the data into custom file of Lonsdor K518 after calculating.

Step3. Perform “Make Dealer Key”.

Step4. Perform “Add key(OBD)”.

test frequency, it shows 434MHz

6. Last step we need to match keys to the immobilizer with autel im608 or im508
insert key and turn on ignition switch
Select Immo- Jaguar – Automatic selection
VIN is read

confirm vehicle information
Immo status scan

Follow IM608 prompts to program key2 and key 3 until finished.

Test new keys.
